Shangoni Lodge

Shangoni Lodge is located in Mpumalanga province, located amongst huge rocks. The bushcamp comprises four air-conditioned chalets with en-suite bathrooms. There is a centrally located self-catering kitchen and lapa area that serves as the social center of the camp. An additional lapa can be found at the braai area. A swimming pool offers relief on hot lowveld days.

The bushcamp's central location in Mpumalanga makes it an ideal family retreat or a stopover for travelers visiting the Kruger Park (18Km), Mozambique (45km), or Swaziland (20Km). At Shangoni, guests have the unique privilege to roam the entire 1600-hectare farm without any disturbance from other tourists or lodgers.

Activities available in the vicinity include tiger and bass fishing safaris, playing golf at Leopard Creek or Malelane Golf Club, visiting the Kruger National Park, Mozambique, or Swaziland, elephant rides at Kwa-Madwala, quad bike trails, and bird watching. When booking, guests book the entire camp, which accommodates 8 adults (8 single beds) and 2 bunk beds (4 children/adults). Guests are required to bring their own duvets and pillows, while fitted sheets are available.
