Shondoro Mountain Retreat

Shondoro Mountain Retreat is located in the Waterberg Mountains, approximately 50 kilometers from Modimolle. It offers three luxury stone and thatch cottages with self-catering accommodation, mountain biking trails on farm roads and natural paths. The retreat is suitable for families, couples, and groups.

The three cottages at Shondoro Mountain Retreat feature thatched roofs and en-suite bedrooms, as well as outdoor living areas. Each cottage is fully equipped for self-catering with a kitchen that includes a refrigerator, oven, complementary tea and coffee tray, and a private boma. There is a communal swimming pool available for guests during the warm summer months.

Activities offered at the retreat include bird watching, game viewing, hiking, and mountain biking in a peaceful environment. The retreat is a safe natural environment for families, without televisions or cell phone reception, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature.

One of the cottages has a one-bedroom en-suite with a shower and a queen bed. The kitchen in this cottage is fully equipped, and it includes a private braai boma. Guests at this cottage can also request breakfast on the veranda at the main lodge for an additional fee of R200 per person.
