Silwerfontein Farm

Silwerfontein Farm is a pet-friendly working farm that is declared a Natural Heritage Site. It surrounds the Vou00eblvlei Dam and offers stunning fynbos and mountain views. The farm has four charming cottages, a Double Decker Bus, and two campsites set in the forest available for accommodation.

As the farm borders a nature conservancy and the area surrounding the Vou00eblvlei Dam, visitors can observe a variety of game and birdlife. The cottages are fully equipped and private, with clean bedding provided. Guests are required to bring their own bath and swimming towels. Solar energy powers the lights, and additional oil lamps enhance the ambiance. Wood-burning fireplaces make the cottages cozy and warm during the winter months. Guests can wake up to the sound of nature, as there are no TVs, radios, or hairdryers to disturb the peace.

Silwerfontein Farm offers a range of hiking and biking trails, with more exciting routes being developed. The farm is home to a herd of wild ponies that roam freely. One of the units available is a spacious accommodation with two bedrooms, a private bathroom, a lounge area, and a kitchen. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed and a single bed. This room can be connected to a separate room with an annex. The rate for a minimum two-night stay is R330 per person per night. A one-night stay is available upon request at R450 per person per night. Pets are allowed upon request for an additional fee of R25 per pet.
