Skukuza Rest Camp is the largest rest camp and administrative headquarters located in the Kruger National Park. It is situated on the southern banks of the Sabie River. The camp is well-vegetated, and there are tall trees along the river's edge. The camp offers a diverse range of activities and facilities, as well as a variety of animals and plants found within the camp and surrounding areas.

The camp offers safari drives guided by experienced guides, where visitors can enjoy spotting various animals in the park and learn more about them. Family units are available for accommodation, and children aged six and above are welcome to join the game drives. Campsites with communal ablutions and cooking facilities are also available, accommodating up to six guests per site. Accommodation must be booked for the same night at the camp, and no meals are provided.

The camp offers wilderness walks where up to eight guests are taken to interesting places in the surrounding wilderness areas adjacent to most of the camps. The walks are led by experienced and armed guides who use their knowledge of the bush to explain natural wonders. Additionally, trained field guides with backup rifles take groups of up to eight people out into the bush for a few hours, tracking rhinos, elephants, and lions on foot, allowing visitors to learn and observe fascinating facts about the African bush. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed on these walks.
