Sky Lodge

The Sky Lodge is a unique self-catering stone lodge located on the side of a mountain overlooking the Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounding Magaliesberg mountains. It offers three exclusive private lodges: Sunset Private Lodge, Red Sky Private Lodge, and the Blue Sky Private Lodge. Each lodge features stone fireplaces, private pool decks, and bomas overlooking the valley. Additionally, each private lodge is equipped with a SmartTV with Netflix and Wi-Fi is available in the lounge areas.

For larger groups of 20 guests or more, it is recommended to book both the Blue Sky Lodge and Sunset Lodge as they are situated closest together. The private lodges can accommodate numerous guests, with a base rate for the first four or fewer guests sharing bedrooms in the three larger lodges. From the fifth guest onwards, an additional charge of R400 per night per guest sharing applies. Children under four to twelve years old are charged R250 per night, and those between thirteen and eighteen years old are charged R350 per night. Children under three years old do not incur any charge if guests bring their own camp cot.

When booking one of the lodges, guests have exclusivity of that particular lodge. To promote privacy and social distancing, units are only serviced when guests have vacated them. Guests can also request that housekeeping does not service a requested unit. The cost calculations are based on two guests sharing per room, either with a double bed or twin single beds. If guests require separate bedrooms, the number of guests should be adjusted accordingly when calculating the cost.

The Stone Suites are perfect for romantic getaways, offering views that are heart-melting. The Sky Lodge is popular with golfing groups due to its proximity to four courses within a 15-kilometer radius: Pecanwood Estate, Magalies Park, Sandy Lane, and Seasons Eco Estate. The larger private lodges are suitable for family gatherings and reunions. The Blue Sky Private Lodge, with nine en-suite bedrooms, a private pool deck, and boma, has a base rate for four or fewer guests sharing two bedrooms, with an additional charge of R350 per person sharing from the fifth guest onwards. Additional bedrooms are opened if there are more than four guests. The units are serviced every second day.
