Sleepover Komatipoort

SleepOver is a limited-service accommodation provider that launched at Lanseria Airport, Johannesburg in November 2019. The company currently operates 11 properties across South Africa, including six strategically located establishments around the Kruger National Park. They are expanding internationally with their first Mauritius property scheduled to open in 2024.

Each SleepOver property features 30-40 standalone units and a reception area with a coffee bar/restaurant. Rooms are available in three configurations: Twin Single with two single beds, Double with a Queen size bed, or Family rooms featuring a Queen size bed and two single pull-out beds suitable for children under 12. All units include air conditioning, a tea and coffee station, bar fridge, and a spacious patio overlooking landscaped gardens.

The establishments offer comprehensive amenities including daily housekeeping service, secure parking, braai (BBQ) facilities, and free WiFi at select locations. Each property is equipped with ePowa charging stations for electric vehicles. Notable features include designated smoking areas, workstations, and garden views. SleepOver has partnered with Rhino Save & Protect to support wildlife conservation efforts, particularly focusing on endangered species protection.

Their Komatipoort location, situated near the N4 highway and the Komatipoort (Lebombo) Dry Port, exemplifies their commitment to providing secure and comfortable accommodation. This property is strategically positioned 15 km from the Kruger National Park and 6 km from the Lebombo Border with Mozambique, featuring an on-site convenience store with a licensed veranda for alcoholic beverages.
