Sleepover Upington

SleepOver is a limited-service accommodation provider established in November 2019, beginning operations at Lanseria Airport, Johannesburg. The company currently operates 11 properties across South Africa, including six locations strategically positioned around the Kruger National Park. Each property typically features 30-40 standalone units and a reception area with coffee bar/restaurant facilities.

The Upington location, situated 16km East of Upington on the N14, is solar-powered and set within indigenous gardens. The property offers twin, double, and family room configurations, all featuring air conditioning, en-suite facilities, work desks, fridges, and coffee stations. Each room includes a private patio overlooking the gardens, with daily housekeeping service provided.

Room options include Queen Rooms with double beds, Twin Rooms with two single beds, and Family Rooms equipped with a queen bed plus two pull-out beds suitable for children under 12. All rooms feature en-suite shower bathrooms with amenities and outdoor patio areas.

The facility offers various amenities including free WiFi (at select locations), secure parking, designated smoking areas, braai (BBQ) facilities, and an on-site restaurant serving hot meals and beverages. Additional features include ePowa charging stations for electric vehicles at all locations, and the company partners with Rhino Save & Protect for wildlife conservation efforts. SleepOver is expanding internationally, with its first Mauritius property scheduled to open in 2024.
