Smartt Guesthouse is a small guest house situated on the N12 highway between Gauteng and Cape Town, making it a convenient stopover location. The guesthouse came under new ownership in April 2013 and is located adjacent to the Quest Service Station. The owners, Francois and Kotie, oversee the daily operations of the guesthouse as well as the on-site Pub and Grill.
The guesthouse offers four twin or double rooms, along with a family room. Secure parking is available, and there is a swimming pool area currently undergoing renovation. One of the rooms features a bunk bed, tea and coffee facilities, a fan, and a shared bathroom located in the hallway.
