Soete Huys Guest House

The Soete Huys Guest House is located in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Wellington, which is approximately 30 minutes from Cape Town. It offers beautifully styled rooms with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and gardens. The guest house is conveniently situated, making it an ideal choice for wedding guests, birthday parties, visitors to various training institutions in Wellington, as well as those embarking on wine tours or enjoying a holiday.

Many guests opt to stay at Soete Huys for extended periods of a week or more, as it offers a peaceful farm-estate experience while being in close proximity to the Wellington town center and main attractions in and around the Cape Peninsula. The entire property can be booked for group functions.

Each room at Soete Huys is individually styled with attention to detail and comfort, offering spectacular views of the mountains and gardens. Guests can enjoy a wonderful private garden with stunning mountain views. The guest house also features a small conference venue in a Rustic Barn that can accommodate approximately 50 people, with catering services available.

The rooms at Soete Huys are spacious, and each room has its own entrance. They are equipped with private showers, quality towels, TVs, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, cutlery, crockery, glasses, openers, kettles, cups, and lounges with reading lamps.

Accommodation options at Soete Huys include five double rooms, a cottage, and one flat. Four of the double rooms and the cottage feature queen-size beds, while one double room offers the choice of twin beds or a king-size bed. Two rooms have a second bedroom with bunk beds. The cottage and flat have separate kitchens with seating areas and private bedrooms, although views are limited. The cottage can accommodate up to five guests with a sleeper couch, a double bed, and single beds.

The Family Suite Three sleeps four guests in two adjoining rooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with bunk beds. A child under 7 can sleep on the couch. The kitchen offers a breakfast nook and is equipped with cutlery, crockery, a mini-fridge, and a tea and coffee tray. The lounge has ample seating, and there is an en-suite bathroom. The suite has a private entrance and a private veranda with seating, offering views of the valley and mountain.
