Sofala Lodge

Sofala Lodge is an exclusive retreat situated in the Sterkrivier region of Limpopo Province, South Africa, near Mokopane. The lodge is nestled within the Legend Golf & Safari Resort estate, offering guests a secure environment with 24/7 security services.

The property features four luxury suites, each accommodating two guests, connected to the main house via landscaped walkways. Two of the suites are equipped with wood-fired hot tubs on their private patios. Each suite boasts en-suite bathrooms with both bath and shower facilities, and guests can choose between king-size or twin bed configurations. The rooms feature modern amenities including air conditioning, ceiling fans, Netflix-enabled TVs, and Wi-Fi throughout. Each suite includes a bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

The main house offers communal spaces including a braai (barbecue) area, outdoor living area, and an indoor living room equipped with DSTV, board games, and a small library. The facility is powered by solar panels with backup generator support to ensure constant electricity supply.

Activities available include game drives in the adjacent Entabeni Private Game Reserve (home to the Big Five), horse riding, spa treatments, and picnic adventures. Complimentary activities include walking trails, board games, and access to the estate's plunge pool and golf course grounds for walking or cycling.

Dining options include a full breakfast (included in accommodation), light lunches, and three-course evening meals. The lodge can accommodate special dietary requirements with advance notice and offers braai facilities for guests who prefer to grill their own meals.
