Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa Tambuki 4X4 Camp

The Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa's Tambuki 4X4 Camp offers an exclusive wilderness experience in Warmbaths, Bela Bela, within South Africa's Limpopo Province. The camp is specifically designed for 4x4 enthusiasts and adventure seekers, situated at the base of a dramatic rock "koppie" approximately 7 kilometers from the main complex.

This remote camping destination embraces a truly authentic bush experience, deliberately operating without electricity to allow guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural environment. The site is distinguished by its ancient trees, some over 200 years old, which provide welcome shade during summer months and stand as living witnesses to the region's rich history.

The camp's facilities include open-air hot water showers powered by a donkey system, flush toilets, a boma, and a central thatched lapa. Each campsite is limited to four people, and due to the terrain, the area is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles. While the camp offers a remote experience, guests can access the main complex's amenities, including Piccinini's Bistro, which serves poolside meals and beverages with entertainment.
