Sophienhof Lodge

Sophienhof Lodge is situated in the Kunene Region of Namibia, near the renowned Etosha National Park. The lodge is set within 9,000 hectares of diverse flora and fauna, offering guests an authentic African safari experience in a tranquil Mopane savanna setting.

The accommodation options include air-conditioned bungalows with double and triple rooms, each featuring private bathrooms and kitchenettes. The exclusive VIP house can accommodate up to four adults and two children, featuring an infinity pool and spectacular views of the Paresis Mountains. The property also offers camping facilities on maintained grass areas and dormitory-style rooms for backpackers. A separate farmhouse, located approximately 2km from the main lodge, is available for group bookings.

The lodge provides various activities including game drives with cheetah feeding experiences, rhino safaris, farm tours with visits to the orange garden, sunset trips to the Ugab Terraces, guided bicycle safaris, hiking tours, and electric motorcycle safaris. Day trips to Etosha, Waterberg, and Twyfelfontain can be arranged upon request.

Facilities include an outdoor pool, an on-site bar, and a restaurant serving set menu dinners and breakfasts. Packed lunches can be pre-arranged, and mountain bikes are available for hire. The area is particularly popular for hiking and wildlife observation. All accommodations include dining areas and/or terraces, ensuring guests can fully appreciate their natural surroundings.
