Soutbos and Janfrederik are two self-catering units located in the small coastal town of L'Agulhas at the southernmost tip of Africa. Soutbos is situated on the upper street level, while Janfrederik is on the lower level of the residence, with each unit having its own entrance.

Soutbos offers 180 degrees of breathtaking sea views, whereas Janfrederik on the lower level has partial sea views. The property is within a 5-minute walking distance from the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse and the Agulhas National Park, approximately 1.7 km from the southernmost tip of Africa, boasting spectacular views of the ocean and lighthouse.

At the lighthouse, visitors can access the L'Agulhas National Park boardwalk, which leads to the formal separation between the Atlantic and Indian oceans, where a beached shipwreck can be seen. Tide pools are also within walking distance from the units. The area offers various tourist attractions, including the Cape Agulhas Wine Route, the Whale Trail, and Spookdraai hiking trails, as well as activities such as cycling and fishing.

Soutbos accommodates up to 6 people and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both with bathtubs and one with a shower), an open-plan kitchen, dining room area, 2 living rooms (one with a fireplace and the other with a flatscreen TV with DSTV), and a balcony entertainment area with a BBQ facility. The kitchen is well-equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, four-plate stove, and kettle. This unit is wheelchair-friendly.

Janfrederik, which is the Afrikaans name for a pretty, little bird native to Southern Africa, provides accommodation for 8 people. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (each with a shower), a small kitchenette, a living room with a flatscreen TV with DSTV, a covered porch, and an outdoor braai-pit entertainment area. The master bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom, the second bedroom sleeps 3 people and has 3 single beds, and the third bedroom also has 3 single beds. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, double-plate stove with oven, and kettle. Unfortunately, Janfrederik is not wheelchair-friendly due to 15 steps leading from the parking area to the entrance.

In both Soutbos and Janfrederik, pets are not allowed, and smoking inside the units is prohibited. Off-street parking is available for both units.
