Located in the Marloth Park nature reserve, which borders Kruger National Park, the lodge is just 17 km from the Crocodile Bridge Gate. The surrounding Marloth Park area features a village with essential amenities including shops, restaurants, a petrol station, liquor stores, butchery, and a post office.

The wildlife experience at Marloth Park is rich, featuring four of the Big Five animals within Lionspruit, a separate game reserve within the park.
