Spes Bona Guesthouse

Spes Bona Guesthouse is a tranquil and homely establishment that has been welcoming tourists for many years. It is one of the first guest houses in Colesberg, having been established in 1995. The guesthouse features traditional high ceilings that provide a perfect atmosphere for overnight accommodation, making it a home away from home.

Spes Bona Guesthouse is pet-friendly, with all pets welcome upon prior arrangement. The accommodation consists of three spacious family rooms, one room sleeping two guests (twin beds), and one room sleeping three guests. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and the family rooms are air-conditioned.

The guesthouse utilizes a grey-water system, ensuring a green grass carpet throughout the year. Breakfast is available upon request and can be arranged upon arrival. Take-away breakfast is also available upon request. The sit-down breakfast consists of a selection of cereals, in-season fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, toast, juice, coffee, or tea. The take-away breakfast includes a toasted sandwich, hard-boiled eggs, sausage or chicken wings, yogurt, in-season fruit, and juice. No pork options are available, but diabetic, vegan, and vegetarian options are available upon prior arrangement.

Spes Bona Guesthouse offers spacious family rooms and a kids' play area with toys available. One of the family rooms is equipped with one queen bed and two single beds, a private lounge area with a TV, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee station, and a private entrance. Additionally, this room features a hairdryer and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower, making it wheelchair accessible.
