St Ives Lodge and Venue is centrally located in Lions River, a scenic area in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands. The beautiful estate is home to an array of wildlife such as zebra, impala, blesbok, and wildebeest that roam the grounds freely. The lodge can accommodate up to 46 people, and each room is equipped with an air-conditioner, a wood-burning fireplace, and comfortable king or extra king-size beds. The rooms have a kitchenette that includes a mini-fridge, a microwave, a toaster, and basic cutlery, crockery, and glassware.

Lodge guests are able to enjoy bass fishing, walking trails, and a braai area at the swimming pool. The St Ives Boma Restaurant, open from Wednesday to Sunday, serves the best pizzas, burgers, steaks, and ribs in town. The establishment offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Family Suite includes two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower and bath. Each bedroom has its own hot and cold air-conditioning unit. The Family Suite also includes a lounge area with a fireplace, DSTV, and a kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave.
