The St Lucia Safari Lodge is situated in a prime location, being on the main road of the town, yet a few minutes' drive from the wonders of the wetlands. It provides an ideal base for holiday travelers, offering a relaxed and exotic setting away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The lodge offers fully serviced self-catering chalets with en-suite bathrooms featuring both baths and showers. Each chalet has a private balcony, secure parking bay, and a TV with selected DStv channels. Additionally, the lodge provides Bed and Breakfast Chalets with bar fridges, coffee-making facilities, and en-suite bathrooms with showers. All units are equipped with air-conditioning, telephones, and hairdryers. Braai facilities are available upon request, and the lodge has a sparkling swimming pool with a luxury lapa where guests can enjoy meals.

The area is renowned for its exceptional bird-watching opportunities, boasting over 520 identified species, such as fish eagles, hornbills, goliath herons, paddle-billed storks, green pigeons, loeries, narina, and trogons. The unspoilt beaches stretching for hundreds of kilometers offer excellent opportunities for snorkeling and protected swimming at Cape Vidal.
