Stanley's Camping Ground is situated under indigenous trees on a farm just 4 km inland from the beautiful coastal village of Kenton-on-Sea in the Eastern Cape. It is located in proximity to several attractions and amenities. The campsite has a communal braai area, outside sinks for dishwashing, clean ablution facilities with hot water showers and toilets, and a safe and peaceful environment. Although tent sites do not have electricity, campers are welcome to bring an extension cord and plug in to one of the electrical outlets for drying hair or charging phones or batteries.

The campsite features a popular restaurant on the premises, as well as swings, a slide, a trampoline, and a playhouse for younger children. It also offers sleeping huts for hire, providing an alternative to pitching a tent. Each hut is equipped with an electric light, fan, and plug point, as well as two bunk beds and one side table. However, the huts do not have cooking facilities, and all cooking must be done outdoors.

Kenton-on-Sea, where Stanley's Camping Ground is located, offers some of the loveliest beaches in South Africa and lies between two tidal rivers. The Sunshine Coast, where the campsite is situated, is a magical place for family holidays, offering a range of activities such as swimming, fishing, boat cruises, canoeing, horse riding, hiking, kite surfing, and bird watching, as well as long lazy days on the beaches.

The campsite is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from several malaria-free Game Reserves and less than an hour's drive from the Addo Elephant Park. Additionally, the Royal Port Alfred Golf Club is a 15-minute drive from the farm, and there are several art galleries and studios in the vicinity.
