Starfish Chalet

The Starfish Chalet is a self-catering, three and a half bedroom cottage-style accommodation located near Chakas Rock, in the Dolphin Coast area, near Ballito in KwaZulu-Natal. It offers panoramic ocean views from its elevated position, approximately 250 meters from the shoreline and within a five-minute walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and a liquor store. The chalet is situated centrally between Thompsons Bay and Salt Rock beaches, with Ballito central being a five-minute drive away and King Shaka International Airport located half an hour away.

The chalet features two king-size beds, and the third bed can be split into single beds. There is also a double bunk bed in the shared common space and study area. It has two shower facilities, one en-suite, and a third bathroom/WC, with all showers being roll-in. The property is designed as an entertainer's paradise, equipped with DSTV, Wi-Fi, and a serviced garden and pool.

The outdoor entertaining area features breathtaking ocean views of the pool, a mini pool bar, a counter bar fridge, a gas and fire braai/BBQ, sun loungers, umbrellas, a wrap-around veranda, a cane comfort suite, barrel bar chairs and stools, a fire pit, and an alfresco 10-seater dinner table. The living area features an eight-seater dining table, an open-plan kitchen with gas hob and caesarstone countertops, and lounge/TV areas, along with a separate scullery including washing and dishwasher machines. Parking is available for two cars only, and during the Christmas period, a minimum booking of eight days is required.
