Starry Starry Night Eco Mountain Reserve is nestled in the Langeberg Mountain foothills along Route 62, situated between Montagu and Barrydale, approximately two hours from Cape Town. The location serves as an ideal midway point between Cape Town and the Garden Route, offering visitors a sense of isolation while maintaining proximity to nearby towns.

The reserve is home to two rivers, waterfalls, hiking trails, and natural rock pools, complemented by panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. The property features abundant fynbos vegetation and maintains an organic herb and vegetable garden. Its remote setting provides guests with an opportunity to disconnect from urban life while enjoying pristine air quality and remarkable stargazing opportunities.

The accommodation consists of two mountain cottages positioned side by side, each furnished with a queen-size bed and a sleeper couch suitable for children. While adjacent, the cottages maintain privacy while offering unobstructed views of the mountains, valleys, and indigenous fynbos. The property was established by Français and JD, who met in London and drew inspiration from their global travels to create a unique lodging experience. Their vision combines elements from various international establishments they encountered, resulting in an extraordinary yet accessible retreat. Additionally, the property features a geodesic StarDome, positioned on a secluded hill, offering both mountain views during the day and stellar observation opportunities at night through its skylight.
