Starry Starry Night

Starry Starry Night Eco Mountain Reserve is an eco-reserve located in the foothills of the rugged Langeberg Mountains, between the towns of Montagu and Barrydale. It is situated along the iconic Route 62, approximately a two-hour drive from Cape Town. The reserve is conveniently positioned as a midway stopover between Cape Town and the Garden Route, offering a sense of isolation while still being close to surrounding towns.

The reserve is blessed with two stunningly beautiful rivers, waterfalls, hiking routes, natural rock pools, and panoramic views that seem to stretch into the future. It features an abundance of stunning fynbos, an organic herb and vegetable garden, tranquility, fresh air, and dazzling night skies, providing an opportunity for visitors to truly disconnect from the busyness of everyday life and recharge their batteries.

The reserve features two mountain cottages, each equipped with a queen-size bed and a sleeper couch for children. The cottages stand side-by-side, offering unhindered views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and fynbos, while still providing privacy. The owners, Franu00e7ois and JD, who met in London six years ago and have extensively traveled the world, aimed to create a unique and extraordinary lodging experience by combining the most special and magical elements they have enjoyed from various lodges across the globe, while keeping it affordable.
