Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is a guest accommodation situated in the small Karoo town of Tarkastad, approximately 65 kilometers from Queenstown. It features a large garden that is safe for children and off-street parking for vehicles. Stepping Stones offers two units to guests: the Garden Cottage and the Rondawel.

The Garden Cottage is equipped with a comfortable bedroom featuring a queen-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Tea, filter or decaf coffee, and rusks are provided in the room. The Rondawel is located behind the house and includes a double bed, a bunk bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Tea and coffee are also provided in this room.

Both units are supplied with linen, towels, soap, and extra blankets. While there is no TV, the property offers WiFi access. The two units share a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave, hot plates, an oven, cutlery, and crockery. A braai area is available, and wood, braai packs, and equipment for braaiing can be provided.

Stepping Stones accepts children of all ages, and there is no charge for children under two years old. The resident animals include dogs and cats, and pets can be accommodated upon request. The property is considered a great place for a quiet stopover on a long journey or as a base for exploring the surrounding area.
