Sterland Caravan Park

Sterland Caravan Park is located 1 km outside Sutherland and offers a typical farm atmosphere under the vast star-studded night sky. It features seven campsites with electricity and a clean ablution block. Visitors are welcome to camp with a tent, trailer, or caravan. The campsites are situated between Chinese poplars and Soutbos, with a gravel surface ideal for camping.

On the side of the premises, there is a Muisbos enclosure, two metres high, with a braai area in the centre surrounded by lights and an electrical plug. Each campsite also has its own separate braai area. The ablution block includes a central scullery, with the ladies' shower and toilet on one side and the gents' facilities on the other. The ablution block is serviced every morning, and washing lines are available.

A splash pool is provided for warm summer days. The caravan park offers private stargazing with six telescopes at the campsite every night, with booking required. Facilities include electrical points, a communal boma, braai/barbeque facilities, and an ablution block with showers.
