Steynshoop Valley Lodge

Steynshoop Valley Lodge is a luxury self-catering accommodation, situated on an elevated site in the scenic Magaliesberg valley near Hekpoort, offering superb views of the magnificent mountain range and the valley. It is a unique lodge located within a world heritage site, approximately an hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, comprising nine luxury en-suite bedrooms.

The venue can also be hired for small conferences. The Lodge features a gorgeous chapel and a function hall. The thatched, traditionally styled chapel can accommodate up to 150 people. The function hall can be used for wedding receptions, while smaller weddings can be held at the pool-side gazebo, accommodating up to 80 people.

The property features an extensive range of natural game, including bushbuck, nyala, mountain reedbuck, baboons, monkeys, kudu, warthog, and leopard. The Lodge offers various recreational facilities for guests, such as tennis courts, volleyball and badminton facilities, a croquet lawn with implements, a boules set, a full-size billiard table, and an archery target range with bows and arrows.

The self-catering unit features a main bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom (with a bath and a shower), as well as a second, smaller bedroom with two single beds, located close to a separate shower bathroom.
