The stone cottage is situated on an exclusive 66-hectare bush farm that offers an off-the-grid experience. The property features a serene and peaceful environment with pristine bushes, a rocky Kloof, and a stream with beautiful waterfalls. Small game animals, such as kudu, roam freely, unfenced on three sides, providing visitors with the opportunity to observe them if they are fortunate.

Guests have exclusive use of the 66-hectare property, allowing them to enjoy the views, the bush, and the silence. The area is rich in birdlife, and visitors can embark on hikes or walks around the property, although it is strenuous to reach the top of the hill. Bicycles are recommended for exploring the surrounding area, or visitors can opt to drive.

The cottage is located in the beautiful Wilge river valley, almost in Mpumalanga, and upstream from where the river flows into the Olifants and on into the Loskop Dam. It is situated approximately one hour and forty-five minutes from Johannesburg.

The cottage features two bedrooms, with the main bedroom equipped with a queen bed and a loft room with twin beds. The lounge area includes a comfortable queen sleeper couch, and an annex to the twin room offers a small double sleeper couch suitable for younger guests. The cottage also has one full bathroom with a shower and bath, as well as an additional toilet situated just outside the main cottage.
