Stoneybrooke Farm

Stoneybrooke Farm, situated in the Tierpoort area of Pretoria East, is a 220-hectare working farm that has been in the family since 1957, with Ray residing there since the early 1980s. The property offers a genuine farm experience where visitors can observe Nguni cattle grazing, interact with geese and chickens, and witness agricultural activities amid peaceful surroundings.

The farm, managed by hosts Bev and Ray, features various accommodation options including fully furnished houses and cottages, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms, open-plan kitchens, and comfortable living spaces. The properties boast large verandas with panoramic views, private braai facilities, and fully enclosed gardens. Basic amenities are provided, and pets are welcome.

The establishment is conveniently located near several amenities including Menlyn, The Grove, Woodlands Mall, and various wedding venues. It's within walking distance of the Pienaars River, making it an ideal retreat from city life. The farm maintains approximately 200 Nguni cattle and various other farm animals including geese, chickens, and rabbits.

Guests can enjoy numerous activities including swimming in the 18-meter pool, river picnics, mountain biking, and relaxing in the boma. The farm's flagship accommodation, Baba Ganoush, offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped open-plan living area with outdoor patio access. A notable feature is their food service, with Bev serving as chef, preparing fresh meals delivered directly to guests' accommodations.
