Summer Place Umzumbe is a family beach holiday destination located directly on the main swimming beach at Umzumbe, 90 km south of Durban between Hiberdene and Port Shepstone. Known as the Hibiscus Coast's best-kept secret, it is situated adjacent to the Pumula Beach Hotel.

The property features five self-catering, air-conditioned beach cottages. The Penthouse accommodates six guests with two main bedrooms, one children's room, two bathrooms, and stunning sea views. Lookout Cottage can host up to ten guests with three main bedrooms, two interleading rooms, three bathrooms, and direct beach access. The Honeymoon Cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms with sea views throughout. Both Big Brother Cottage and Paradise units are designed for two guests, featuring modern amenities and ocean views.

All units are fully equipped with DSTV and daily servicing. The property offers excellent security with on-site parking behind secure gates and high walls. The main swimming beach is protected by shark nets and staffed with year-round lifeguards. Additional features include a sea splash pool, beach tidal pool, and fishing opportunities at Stiebel Rocks.

The location provides convenient access to approximately six golf courses, from Selbourne to the Wild Coast. Water sports and recreational facilities are available in the area, with spa and beauty services accessible in nearby Hibberdene, 7km away. The beach setting is ideal for romantic walks and sunsets, while children can enjoy the shallow tidal pool and beach activities, including ice cream vendors on the beachfront.
