Sun & Sea Downtown Mediterranean Villa

The Sun & Sea Downtown Mediterranean Villa is a stunning Mediterranean-style villa situated on the slopes of Signal Hill, part of the Table Mountain National Park, in the heart of the Atlantic Seaboard in downtown Cape Town. The villa offers sweeping ocean views, with Robben Island visible in the distance. It features five bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and a dedicated playful space in the living area that can accommodate four additional guests on floor mattresses.

The master bedroom features a beautiful balcony with amazing ocean views. The villa has multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as access to a shared swimming pool next door, accessible via a short flight of steps and by prior notice only (except from December 7, 2019, to January 12, 2020). A highlight of the villa is the entertainment 'lapa' area with a built-in barbecue. It also includes one secure parking garage suitable for a mid-size sedan.

Three bedrooms and bathrooms are part of the main house, while the other two bedrooms open directly onto the garden or outdoor corridors. The fifth bedroom is quite small and basic, with its en-suite bathroom featuring quirky colors, a functional bathtub, and a more basic design. As the villa is over 100 years old, it shows signs of age, including loving wear, quaint aging, and charming patina both inside and outside.

Guests have access to secure parking for a typical mid-size sedan, no larger than a Mercedes C-Class (width and height are not constraints). Guests must park straight in their designated slot, as the adjacent slot is used by other guests. Free Wi-Fi is available. The villa is located next to another property owned by the hosts, with a connecting door between them. If available, both properties can be offered together to accommodate larger groups of up to 24 people.

It is important to note that two of the five bedrooms open directly onto the gardens or corridors of the villa, and the swimming pool is located in the adjoining property where the hosts reside, requiring an appointment for use and being unavailable from December 7, 2019, to January 12, 2020. Additionally, the fifth bedroom (with two single beds) is quite small and basic, with its en-suite bathroom featuring quirky colors, a functional bathtub, and a more basic design.
