Sunny Lane

Sunny Lane consists of two elegant suites located in the heart of Franschhoek village, within walking distance of top restaurants, art galleries, and craft markets. The larger apartment comprises a lounge and open-plan kitchen, plus a double bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom, while the smaller unit comprises a double bedroom with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower.

Both suites are simply but elegantly furnished, and are fully-equipped with white cotton linen, towels, and televisions with M-Net. In the winter, underfloor heating provides warmth. Each suite also has a patio overlooking a beautiful swimming pool. The suites are an extension of the family home of Pete and Barbara Hathorn, but they are completely separate with their own private entrance. Guests can park next to the green gate and walk down the lavender-lined lane to meet their hosts. Sunny Lane is a strictly non-smoking establishment.

The smaller suite features a cozy bedroom with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. French doors open out onto a patio which overlooks the swimming pool. It is equipped with DSTV, and braai facilities are available. Air conditioning keeps the suite cool in summer and warm in winter.
