Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach is a luxury self-catering beach house located in the coastal village of Blue Horizon Bay, situated halfway between Port Elizabeth and Jeffrey's Bay. It offers accommodation for families and friends. The double-story house accommodates 8 guests and is situated approximately 100 meters from the beach, providing lovely sea views. The beach and fishing spots are all within walking distance from the beach house, while the restaurant/bar is one kilometer away.

The ground floor consists of a large open-plan area with a lounge, dining room, TV room, kitchen, and bar area. The kitchen includes a scullery area with a dishwasher and automatic washing machine, as well as crockery, cutlery, and necessary appliances like a fridge, oven, and hob. Adjacent to the bar is a spacious indoor braai/barbeque area opening onto the patio with beautiful sea views. All areas on the ground floor have stacking doors that open onto a swimming pool, perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day. There is also a separate bedroom with a queen-size and single bed, situated on the deck area where a family of three can sleep, and a guest toilet on the ground floor.

The first floor has four large bedrooms, two with king-size beds and two with queen-size beds. The main bedroom also has a single bed. All bedrooms have ample cupboard space. There are two guest bathrooms, each with a large bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Two bedrooms have stacking doors opening onto the patio, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunsets.

Blue Horizon Bay was established as an urban conservancy and is home to a wide variety of antelope, such as the often-seen Bushbuck. Dolphins and whales are regularly spotted playing in the ocean. Other attractions include Van Stadens Resort, located four kilometers from Blue Horizon Bay, and a few wedding venues, like Slipperfields Events and Conference Venue, situated close by. The beach is rated as one of the best, and beach walks are very popular, with the option to walk up to eight kilometers along the beach.
