Sunset Lodge Log Cabins

Sunset Lodge Log Cabins is located on the banks of the St Lucia Estuary, which is a World Heritage Site. It is situated on the main road called McKenzie Street, but in a quieter part of town, within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, and amenities.

The establishment features four four-sleeper units, one five-sleeper unit, and one two-sleeper unit. These are luxurious, air-conditioned log cabins that are fully serviced. Each unit consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, an open-plan kitchen, a lounge, and a private deck outside where guests can relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility while watching the magnificent African sunset. Resident louries, hornbills, hippos, and crocodiles can often be seen.

Additionally, Sunset Lodge Log Cabins has a crystal-clear pool for sun lovers to soak up the hot African rays while enjoying the picturesque view of the estuary and landscape. St Lucia was declared a World Heritage Site in December 1999, and it is considered one of the world's greatest destinations as it is situated within a nature reserve and surrounded by five distinct ecosystems, one of which is Lake St Lucia, the largest estuarine lake system in Africa, home to over 800 hippos and 1500 Nile crocodiles. The area is a bird lover's paradise, with over 520 species identified in and around the region.

The establishment also offers an open-planned chalet with a double bed and kitchenette. It has a shower, a toilet, and a private deck outside.
