Sunset Ridge

Sunset Ridge is a resort situated below the Magalies Mountains range in Rustenburg, South Africa. It offers a picturesque view over the mountains and the valley below. The resort is located approximately 20 minutes away from the famous Sun City, which features one of the top golf courses in South Africa. The Pilanesberg National Park, situated within an enormous crater formed by an ancient volcano, adjoins the resort.

Sunset Ridge features nine large, elegant, and fully equipped bedrooms reflecting a modern internal design. The resort provides a relaxed country atmosphere with amenities such as DStv, a swimming pool, and lovely views. Delicious, substantial breakfasts are served, and dinners are available upon request.

Visitors can embark on a self-drive tour through the Pilanesberg National Park, where they have the opportunity to spot rhinos, elephants, buffalos, and various antelope species. Scenic hiking trails can be enjoyed at the nearby Kgaswana Nature Reserve, located just a five-minute drive away. Approximately an hour's drive southeast of Rustenburg lies one of the most remarkable fossil sites in the world, the Magalies World Heritage Site and the Cradle of Humankind, which have yielded some of the world's most important hominid discoveries.
