Swartvlei Guest Farm is a distinguished countryside retreat located between Wilderness and Sedgefield in the Western Cape, South Africa. Established in the early 1900s, this working avocado, macadamia, and cattle farm offers a perfect blend of heritage and modern comfort on the serene shores of Swartvlei lake.

The property features diverse accommodation options, including a historic Manor House built in 1883 and five self-catering stone cottages. The double-story Manor House, which can accommodate up to 12 guests, boasts three en-suite bedrooms, two dining rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and wraparound patios on both floors offering views of the lake and farm grounds. The house is equipped with modern amenities including Wi-Fi, gas fireplaces, and full bathroom facilities.

The five luxury self-catering cottages each feature en-suite bathrooms with shower and bath facilities, kitchenettes with essential appliances, flat-screen TVs with Netflix, and private patios with BBQ facilities. A communal farm kitchen with a gas stove and electric oven is available for guest use.

The farm offers numerous recreational facilities including a swimming pool, tennis court with clubhouse, and 4km of pristine wetland. Guests can engage in activities such as bird watching and rock climbing. The property can accommodate a total of 22 guests and includes a bespoke function venue, making it ideal for weddings and special events.
