Syringa Sands Rest Camp is situated on the Kransberg plateau in the malaria-free Waterberg region of Limpopo, South Africa. It is located halfway between Vaalwater and Thabazimbi, 38 kilometers from the Marakele National Park gate. The Rest Camp is beautifully situated on the edge of a large farm dam, with the Seven Sisters mountain range in the background and a view of the dam and wetland.

The Rest Camp is the only accommodation on the 1,600-hectare farm and can accommodate up to 8 guests. Visitors can bring tents or stay in two newly added bedrooms (they need to bring their own linen). The off-grid Rest Camp is ideal for both campers and non-campers to enjoy the bushveld together. The campsite is exclusively reserved for guests during their stay.

The Rest Camp features a thatched ablution facility with one toilet, one hot and cold gas geyser shower, and a dish-washing area. There is also a large undercover dining area, a braai lapa, and a kitchenette with a two-pit gas stove (no fridge/freezer). Both the undercover area and bedrooms have solar lighting.

Visitors can engage in activities such as walking on the demarcated trail, fishing, swimming, and boating in the dam (with necessary safety precautions). Game drives are available upon request, and guests can explore the farm on foot or by mountain bike. Wildlife, including zebra, impala, bushbuck, and giraffe, roam freely in the area, and the nearby wetlands attract various bird species.

The Rest Camp is an ideal destination for those seeking peace, tranquility, and a unique bushveld experience. Guests should bring essential supplies such as wood, drinking water, lights, and torches, as there is no connectivity or electricity on-site.
