Talamati Bushveld Camp is located in a large open valley within the Kruger National Park, part of the South African National Parks (Sanparks) system. The area is renowned for its abundant grasslands, attracting large herds of grazing animals and the predators that follow them. The camp offers excellent opportunities for game viewing and observing rare species.

As of September 1, 2017, all visitors over the age of 18 are required to present a valid form of identification, such as an ID card, passport, or driver's license, upon entering and exiting the park. It is important to note that the rates for accommodation at the camp are subject to the number of adults and children staying. Quotes will include a 1% Community Levy, but daily conservation fees must be paid directly to the camp upon arrival.

The camp offers guided safari drives led by experienced guides, allowing visitors to spot various animals and learn more about them. Family units are available, and children aged 6 and over are welcome to participate in the game drives. Accommodation must be booked for the same night at the camp, and no meals are provided.

Additionally, visitors can take part in nocturnal activities to observe Kruger's secretive creatures. Experienced guides lead these night drives, which depart at 5:00 PM and last for at least three hours. For safety reasons, children under the age of 6 are not permitted to participate in these activities.
