The property spans 810 hectares of pristine nature, featuring spectacular hills, valleys, and breathtaking views.
The farm offers four well-appointed self-catering cottages: Protea, Agapanthus, Kiepersol, and Rose Cottage. Each accommodation is privately situated and equipped with essential amenities, including fireplaces, outdoor braai facilities, and en-suite bathrooms with showers. The cottages are powered by solar panels providing 220V electricity, though not suitable for heating appliances.
Environmental sustainability is a core principle at Talbot Trout Farm. The cottages utilize filtered mineral water from the farm's natural springs, ensuring high-quality water supply. The property boasts nine regularly stocked trout dams, making it an ideal destination for catch-and-release fishing enthusiasts.
The farm is home to diverse wildlife, including blesbok, ribbok, zebra, gemsbuck, springbok, nyala, and ostriches. Domestic animals such as donkeys, Shetland ponies, cows, and geese also inhabit the property.
