The beach-front cabana is situated on a large private estate, which lies at the edge of the sea, offering spectacular views of False Bay and beyond. The backdrop is the beautiful panoramic views of the ever-changing Helderberg mountains and the Hottentots Holland range. The cabana offers luxury self-catering facilities for up to four guests.

It has two bedrooms. The main bedroom can have double or twin beds, and it has an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. The second bedroom is a twin bedroom, and it has its own shower-room across the hallway. There is a large open-plan living/dining area and kitchen with two sets of sliding doors opening onto the garden, which leads directly onto the beach.

Outside, there is a patio and private garden overlooking the sea and the Cape beyond. The patio is partially covered by a pergola, which also has horizontal and vertical blinds for sun shade and to keep the house cool in the height of summer. There is no road or other buildings in front of the cabana, so uninterrupted views of the sea and the Cape beyond can be enjoyed. The sunsets are often magnificent.

A covered parking area is located next to the house. At the rear of the property, there is a communal swimming pool, gardens, and a braai area by the pool, which makes an ideal spot for supper. However, a private braai area is not available at the cabana. There is also a communal laundry facility on-site.

The cabana features Open View HD TV and fast fibre internet. Electricity is on a pre-pay basis and can be topped up during the stay, with around R150 per week being sufficient. An access pass fee of R80 is payable on arrival for the Greenways Estate. Rentals of the cabana have a minimum stay of 28 days, as imposed by the rules of the Body Corporate.

The Greenways Estate has a 9-hole golf course, and there are many other golf courses in the area. The Strand beach is a stunning 5km sandy beach. The beach immediately in front of the cabana is lovely and quiet, as there are rock pools beyond the sand, making it an ideal area to explore at low tide. Daily beach walks are a tonic for the soul.
