Tamboti Tented Camp is a small camp located on the banks of the Timbavati River, on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park, approximately 2 kilometers east of Orpen Rest Camp. It is considered one of the most popular camps in the Park due to its size and location. The camp features a boma, which is ideal for small groups to gather around the campfire and share their animal sightings from the day.

For bird enthusiasts, Tamboti offers a bird hide where visitors can spend hours trying to spot elusive raptors. The camp maintains a natural bush feel, emphasizing guest privacy. The rates include a 1% Community Levy but exclude daily conservation fees, which must be paid directly at the camp upon arrival.

Beginning September 1, 2017, all visitors over 18 years old are required to present a valid identification document, such as an ID, passport, or driver's license, for scanning upon entering or exiting the Park. The camp offers units large enough for families to stay in, and children aged 6 and over are welcome to join the various game drives offered. The accommodation consists of tents with two single beds.

Please note that the rates displayed are for two guests, and the actual rates are subject to the number of guests and children staying. Guests are advised to request the appropriate tariffs.
