Tambuti Lodge - Pilanesberg

Tambuti Lodge is a Big 5 private game lodge situated on the northwestern side of the greater Pilanesberg National Park, surrounded by the trees of an old tambuti forest within the Black Rhino Game Reserve. It is set in pristine African wilderness at the foot of an ancient volcanic crater, offering guests an intimate and luxurious safari experience.

The lodge provides guests with a choice of five luxury chalets that are beautifully decorated and equipped with fans or air-conditioning for comfort. The bedrooms feature king-size beds or twin beds, and each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, as well as an outdoor shower. Some of the suites have a sleeper couch, and all suites are equipped with TVs with DStv, bar fridges, tea and coffee facilities, and safes for valuables. Guests can relax on their private decks and enjoy the bush views. All meals, teas and snacks, as well as dusk and dawn safaris in open Land Rovers, are included.

At Tambuti Lodge, guests can unwind next to the inviting swimming pool, in the cosy TV lounge with its fireplace, or enjoy a sundowner in the bar. The lodge also has a business centre with free Wi-Fi Internet access, and guests can sit around the boma and experience the starry skies at night. Two daily game drives are conducted by an experienced nature guide, and guided bush walks are offered, which provide the birdwatcher, botanist, and nature enthusiast with the ultimate bush experience. Please note that children are permitted on drives at the discretion of the game ranger, and no one under the age of 16 is permitted to join the game walks. Game walks are subject to availability, and guests are requested to book this activity when reserving their accommodation.

Tambuti Lodge welcomes honeymoon couples with a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates, and offers candlelit dinners and bubble baths. There is a swimming pool and board games for children to enjoy. The luxury suite rate includes accommodation, all meals, morning and afternoon game drives, local drinks, and laundry service, but excludes park and conservation fees.
