Tanglewood Nature Estate

TangleWood Nature Estate is a tranquil retreat situated along the banks of Boskop Dam, 14 kilometers outside Potchefstroom in North West Province, South Africa. The estate offers a diverse range of accommodation options while maintaining a strict low-noise policy to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

The accommodation includes a luxury tent spanning 30m² with premium amenities, three 32m² self-catering pods, and multiple lodge tents. The luxury tent features a king bed and is exclusively for adults, while the pods can accommodate two adults and two children under 12. The lodge tents, measuring 4m x 3.5m, come in two configurations: queen bed with bunk bed or two 3/4 beds with a daybed, accommodating various family sizes.

For traditional camping enthusiasts, the estate provides numerous 10m x 10m camping stands, each equipped with power supply. These stands can accommodate one caravan or tent and one vehicle, with a maximum capacity of five persons or four adults per stand. All camping stands have access to shared ablution facilities.

The estate offers various activities including kayaking, beach volleyball, bass angling, bird watching, swimming, and cycling. Additional facilities include a fully licensed bar serving refreshments and basic camping supplies. The venue features a hall that can accommodate up to 250 guests, making it suitable for various functions, while smaller gatherings can be hosted on the veranda or in the venue garden. A large open lawn area by the water's edge is available for picnics and outdoor events.
