Tarentilos

Tarentilos is located on a privately-owned estate just outside Tzaneen. It offers a unique and tranquil atmosphere that can only be experienced at this establishment. Tarentilos features tastefully decorated self-catering rooms with a communal kitchen, BBQ area, and shared bathrooms for men and women. There are also two self-catering chalets overlooking a small lake with a BBQ on a wooden deck, and six B&B units with a Balinese vibe, each with an en-suite bathroom. The B&B units do not have a kitchen or BBQ facilities.

The estate can accommodate a total of 31 guests, and its function venue is ideal for any type of celebration, conference, or training for up to 50 guests. The estate is well-kept, with spacious and tranquil gardens where game roams freely. Bird lovers can spot a wide variety of bird species on the premises. Swimming facilities are available to freshen up on hot bushveld summer days, and the estate offers state-of-the-art secure premises.

Tarentilos is situated within 5km from Tzaneen's Central Business District, which offers a wide selection of restaurants, shopping, and medical facilities. It is conveniently located for guests to explore the attractions and activities in the Greater Tzaneen area, such as Debengeni Waterfalls, Haenertsburg Village, Magoebaskloof Canopy tours, Eco Park Lion & predator wildlife observation center, Modjadji Rain Forest, forest hiking trails, and within an hour's drive, the great Cheetah Project and silkworm produce farm.

Tarentilos is located 120km from the Phalaborwa Kruger Gate, making it a perfect stopover on the way to the Kruger National Park or Mozambique. Group bookings for partying and visitors are not allowed. Continental breakfast is not included but can be provided at an additional cost of R50 per person. Tarentilos can accommodate up to 50 guests, and a licensed cash bar is available. The establishment has its own DJ with music for all ages and an open-air pulpit. A menu with mouth-watering dishes is available for guests to choose from.
