Tembe Elephant Park is situated in Maputaland, in North Eastern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is home to the largest and only indigenous elephant herd in KwaZulu-Natal, as well as a rich diversity of wildlife including the Big Five. The park is also considered a paradise for bird watchers. It offers the magnificence of a national game park, managed by KZN Wildlife, combined with the personal touch and service of a community-run lodge.

The lodge consists of luxury en-suite tented accommodation with outside showers attached to the units. There is a small pool for cooling off and an open camp fire area. Cultural experiences, such as Zulu/Thonga dancing, are available. Tariffs include all meals, tea, coffee, and two daily guided 4x4 game drives. The management reserves the right to amend tariffs without prior notice.

One of the accommodation options is a small bedroom safari tent on a carpeted concrete surface. It features a queen-size bed with no space for additional beds, an en-suite basin and toilet, and a cordoned-off outside shower attached to the unit.
