Thaba Thipa

Thaba Thipa is a 22-hectare farm located in the heart of the bushveld, approximately 10 minutes north of Bela Bela on the road to Modimolle. The name "Thaba Thipa" means "Mountain of the Knife", and the farm is situated on a mountain. Hiking in the area offers beautiful scenery and provides an exquisite view of the surroundings.

The accommodation at Thaba Thipa consists of a log house with scenic views and three chalets set in a tranquil environment. All units feature private bathrooms, TVs with full DStv access, fully equipped kitchens, and private barbecue areas. For guests' enjoyment, there is also a heated swimming pool and a jungle gym for children.

The emphasis at Thaba Thipa is on tranquility and relaxation. Guests can cool off in the refreshing pool after exploring the bush trails or watch the sunset while preparing a fire for an evening barbecue. Over 100 bird species have been recorded on the farm, presenting a wonderful opportunity for bird watching.

The farm is home to various animal species, including waterbuck, kudu, impala, klipspringer, and bush buck. The one-bedroom chalet accommodates four guests, with a double bed and bunk beds in the same bedroom. The bathroom features a shower, toilet, and vanity. The unit also includes a fully equipped kitchen, a TV with DStv access, fans, and a private barbecue area and garden.
