Thabana Safari Lodge is built on a hill overlooking the Marico Valley. It is a secluded, privately owned luxury lodge situated on 25,000 acres of prime malaria-free bushveld. The lodge offers visitors the opportunity to view one of the largest varieties of game found on privately owned land.

The lodge features eight comfortable, individually appointed thatched chalets that are carefully situated to ensure undisturbed privacy and magnificent bush views. Other facilities include an open-air thatched roof deck, a traditional African-style lapa, and a sparkling swimming pool.

Thabana Safari Lodge is located in the Marico Valley in the Northwest Province of South Africa, less than a three-hour drive from OR Tambo International Airport. The area is surrounded by the Enselsberg Mountains in the south, the Dwarsberg Mountains in the north, and the Marico River in the east, creating a habitat suitable for most of Africa's animal and bird species.

The scenic view of the Dwarsberg Mountains and the valley below offers great photographic opportunities and allows nature lovers to explore the African bush on foot or in open game viewing vehicles accompanied by professional guides. Each chalet is comfortably furnished with either a double bed or single beds and an en-suite bathroom. The chalets are equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities and a wooden deck where guests can unwind and enjoy the solitude.
