Thabile Lodge

Thabile Lodge is situated within a rugged mountainous terrain. The lodge features a quiet farm atmosphere that offers a sanctuary from the glow and buzz of the city, creating an ideal oasis for balancing the mind, body, and soul. The African-style architecture is spread across 600 hectares of native surroundings, creating a welcoming environment.

The 12 en-suite rooms at the lodge are adorned with natural rustic finishes, offering a distinct African flair. Guests have the option to interact with others or remain completely private. Each room has its own intimate veranda with breathtaking views of the Swartberg Mountains.

Outrides of the surrounding area have become popular and can be arranged at the lodge. Some guests are fascinated by the breeding techniques employed, such as embryo implants and artificial insemination. It is also considered a therapeutic experience to milk a cow or have a calf suckle one's finger. There are plenty of trails to follow along the farm, and the lodge's eager four-legged friends are willing to join guests for walks and swims in the nearby dam.

The beds in the rooms can be easily converted to twin or king-size configurations, depending on the guests' requirements. Each room has its own intimate porch with breathtaking views of the Swartberg Mountains.
