Thali Thali Game Lodge

Thali Thali Game Lodge is a 1,460-hectare Cape West Coast game and fynbos reserve situated just off the R27 near Langebaan, approximately an hour's drive from Cape Town, bordering the West Coast National Park. It is a 3-star graded establishment that can accommodate up to 29 guests. The lodge features a restaurant that is open daily and serves generous, beautifully displayed food. It offers a laid-back West Coast style getaway experience, complete with game drives, archery lessons, and sundowners on the deck for those who prefer a less adventurous stay.

The reserve features a wide range of game, including kudu, oryx, giraffe, red hartebeest, eland, zebra, sable antelope, springbok, black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, steenbok, ostrich, dromedary camel, and emu. It is also home to many different bird species, and guests are welcome to enjoy walks in the fynbos to view these creatures.

The accommodation at Thali Thali Game Lodge consists of 8 units designed with an entertainment area, bar facilities, and an open-air lapa. These units comprise 3 West Coast Style self-catering chalets and 5 glamping tents. Additionally, the lodge has a separate, large old farmhouse with 4 bedrooms, ideal for families and groups. It features a massive fireplace in the kitchen and a wrap-around porch that lends itself to lazy afternoons in the sun.

The lodge also offers a wedding venue that can cater for up to 100 guests, providing the full package of catering, decor, flowers, and wedding planning services. There is a gazebo in the garden for wedding ceremonies. Guests can enjoy game drives in open, 4x4 viewing vehicles and experience romantic offerings such as engagements by candlelight, private dining, and romantic game drives arranged by the management. The lodge is located 12km from the beautiful Langebaan Country Club and beaches, making it an ideal destination for families and children, with amenities like a splash pool and jungle gyms.
