The Ancient Copper Shed offers comfortable self-catering accommodation with a view of a game farm and is located approximately 10 kilometers from Potchefstroom. Guests can book accommodation in the thatched unit called Sumer, which can accommodate five guests, or the unit called Egypt, also suitable for five guests. The units are decorated with a theme inspired by treasures from ancient Sumerian and Egyptian history.

The Sumer unit consists of a bedroom with a king-size bed and an attic room with three three-quarter beds. These rooms share a bathroom equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Towels are provided. An outdoor shower with hot water is available in the garden. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, featuring a microwave oven, gas stove, fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery. Guests can relax in the lounge area with a fireplace and enjoy the beautiful views from the veranda. This unit also has a private boma.

The Egypt unit can accommodate five guests and has a bedroom with a king-size bed, a loft room with three three-quarter beds, and a private bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. Towels are also provided in this unit. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, microwave oven, fridge, cutlery, crockery, pots, and pans. Guests can unwind in the lounge area with a fireplace or on the veranda. An outdoor shower with hot water is available in the garden, which is named the Garden of Eden and surrounded by edible herbs. This unit also features a private boma and an enclosed space for pets.

Pets are welcome at The Ancient Copper Shed, but arrangements must be made in advance. Please note that a dirt road leads to the establishment, but it is well-maintained and suitable for any sedan vehicle. Wood for the fireplace and boma can be purchased on-site.
