A self-catering unit, an old farm shed or barn, has been quaintly rebuilt and renovated. It features sash windows with shutters and dark beamed ceilings. The unit can accommodate up to five guests and comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area.

The main bedroom contains a Queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has two single beds, and the third bedroom contains a three-quarter bed. The bathroom is fitted with a Victorian bath on legs, a toilet, and a quaint old 'Was Tafel'. There is also an outdoor shower. All three rooms have mosquito nets, wall-mounted heaters or oil heaters, extra blankets for cold nights, and an electric fan for warmer summer nights.

The fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering has a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, bar fridge, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, and crockery. There is also a breakfast table. The dining area can seat six people, while the lounge has a comfortable suite surrounding the fireplace. The unit also features a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels and free Wi-Fi access.

Braai facilities and an outdoor entertainment area are available on the kitchen back stoep. The lush and green garden has a myriad of birds visiting the bird pond and nesting in the fruit-bearing olive trees. The fully fenced garden allows pets by prior arrangement. Secure on-site parking is available for three cars.

The unit offers peace and quiet in romantic surroundings with stunning views and a lush garden. It can accommodate a total of five persons in a double-bedded room, a twin-bedded room, and a single bed in the Monks room. All rooms share one bathroom with an outdoor shower and a bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with two refrigerators for food.
