The Boat House, 53 Nkwazi Drive.

The Boat House at 53 Nkwazi Drive is a lovely cottage situated right on the water's edge of the lagoon, offering direct access to the lagoon and beach. It is suitable for accommodating one family of six guests. The property does not have garages but provides secure open parking within its fenced and gated premises, serviced by armed response.

The Boat House is part of a larger property that includes the Main House and The Flat, all of which share a pool. It offers a large veranda at the front with splendid views of the lagoon and Indian Ocean, furnished for outdoor seating. There is also a side veranda and a covered patio area with a built-in charcoal braai. Uncapped Wi-Fi and DSTV are provided.

The Boat House has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs, there is an open-plan lounge, dining room, and kitchen that exits onto the large front and side verandas. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. There are two bedrooms upstairs: one with a double bed and another with two single beds. The upstairs bathroom has a separate shower, bathtub, basin, and toilet. Downstairs, there is a large independent bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, basin, and bathtub. All rooms have ceiling fans, built-in cupboards, and hangers.

While guests cannot launch a boat directly from the property, they can moor in front of the property during the day when the lagoon is full enough. To access the lagoon, guests can launch at the communal launch site near the village entrance. For ocean access, the main beach launch site must be used, and arrangements should be made with the Ski-boat club. Small children must be supervised at all times around the lagoon and pool areas.

The Boat House caters exclusively to family holidays and does not accommodate groups of adults or functions of any kind. Pets are not allowed. Additional charges apply for a maid levy and a refundable breakage deposit.
