The Clarens Country House

The Clarens Country House is a luxurious converted 120-year-old farm building located in the Clarens Golf Estate, Free State, South Africa. The property features thick sandstone walls that provide excellent insulation and shelter, offering guests a perfect blend of historical architecture and modern comfort.

The establishment comprises four distinct self-catering suites: The Ouhout Suite, The Wildeals Suite, The Bosman Suite, and The Shepherds Loft. Each suite features separate bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms with both bath and walk-in shower facilities, and lounge/kitchen areas with private veranda sun-rooms. The Bosman Suite, suitable for families or two couples, offers two upstairs double bedrooms, while the Shepherds Loft provides a romantic setting with its private garden and dedicated parking area.

All accommodations are serviced daily and come fully equipped with modern amenities including DSTV, Netflix, free Wi-Fi, and heating wall panels. The kitchens are well-appointed with necessary cooking utensils and equipment. Thoughtful touches include complimentary tea, coffee, fresh milk, and homemade biscuits.
