The Coach House

The Coach House is a national monument that has been renovated with careful attention to preserving its original character and charm, despite being over 100 years old. It is situated in a quiet street in the picturesque village of Franschhoek.

The establishment offers seven double en-suite rooms, with the option of twin beds or queen-size beds. The two upstairs rooms boast mountain views, with one room featuring a spacious balcony overlooking the garden. All of the accommodation is equipped with air-conditioning or ceiling fans, TVs, bar fridges, and tea and coffee facilities.

Guests can enjoy a full English or buffet-style continental breakfast served in the breakfast room or on the patio of the garden rooms. Additionally, The Coach House has a lounge and a library area where guests can watch TV or read. The property also features a pool, a well-established garden, and facilities for a traditional South African braai (barbecue).

The Coach House is conveniently located within a short walking distance from Franschhoek's renowned restaurants and shops, as well as the Huguenot Monument and Museum, which is situated just 50 meters away.

One of the upstairs rooms is an air-conditioned loft room containing a double bed and an en-suite shower. This room, like all others, is equipped with Wi-Fi access, a TV, a bar fridge, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
